Aurora

My story is one filled with tragedy and hardship up until I found the light at the end of the tunnel. I am originally from Buffalo New York, where I was bonded with my mate Alistair, for almost 2 years, when tragedy struck and he accidentally flew out of the house. Both my parents searched long and hard for weeks for my mate as did I, but he was never found, and I went through a long time of grieving. 

My parents saw my pain and how much I was hurting, and decided that it was in my best interest for me to make my journey to my new home because they knew how special Rukus was, and how they had hoped that he would heal the huge hole left in my heart. I know it wasn't easy on me nor them, but this is the silver lining in my story. I came to this wonderful home with all my new friends and I met my new love Rukus. Rukus has filled the hole in my heart, and I have become my normal self again and I have come out of my shell, and have blossomed here. I get very mad when I can't be near Rukus! I am the loudest bird in the house, and you can hear me in almost every video, being louder than everyone else. I am very intelligent, and am a great problem solver. My original parents named me after my first mother's niece who's middle name I now bare. My new parents gave me my awesome middle name Sue, to give me the same Southern Touch my sister Ellie got!
