About Us

Avian Rearing and Care Services

For over 12 years, we have maintained a distinguished commitment to the expert hand-rearing, socialization, and taming of our personal avian collection. Our profound passion is focused on cultivating deep, enduring relationships with diverse feathered species, ensuring that every companion bird entrusted to us receives personalized attention and the highest standard of compassionate care within our dedicated home.

Comprehensive Nutritional Protocol

Our commitment to superior avian health begins with a structured and diverse dietary regimen.

We initiate the hand-feeding process using Kaytee Exact Hand Feeding Formula. As your companion bird progresses toward full weaning, we systematically introduce a variety of highly nutritious foods to ensure a seamless transition and establish healthy eating habits:

  • Whole Grains: Premium millet is offered for early exploration. We then introduce the superior grains, such as quinoa.
  • Fresh Produce: We provide a blend of soft vegetable  (known as "chop") and freshly prepared fruit and vegetable mixes.
  • Premium Pellets: Roudybush Maintenance (Crumbles) Pellets are introduced to ensure balanced, complete nutrition.

With years of experience resulting in satisfied companionbirds trusting pet owners, you can be confident that we meticulously manage your pet's complete dietary requirements for optimal health and vitality. Our commitment to superior avian health begins with a structured and diverse dietary regimen.

Socialization and Foundational Training

The crucial early phase of a companion bird's development focuses on essential socialization and habituation, particularly for highly interactive species like Indian Ringnecks (IRNs).

Our protocol ensures your bird develops confidence and a strong bond with humans:

  • Dedicated One-on-One Interaction: Immediately following hand-feedings, we dedicate continuous individualized physical time to each IRN.
  • Human Companionship: Birds are habituated to human presence, learning to be comfortable with hands, fingers, and touch in a positive setting.
  • Environmental Conditioning: We expose them to a variety of household sounds and stimuli, preparing them for life in a typical home environment.
  • Group Dynamics: They spend time around other Indian Ringnecks to reinforce natural social behaviors.
  • Enrichment Skills: We actively introduce and encourage foraging and shredding behaviors, vital activities for mental stimulation and well-being.
  • Pre-Adoption Grooming: Before joining your family, each bird receives a nail trim for a smooth transition home.nail trim.

Rigorous Avian Health and Testing Protocol

Both our personal companion birds and our breeding stock undergo professional veterinarian testing. for the following serious pathogens:

  • Avian Bornavirus (ABV)
  • Avian Polyomavirus (APV)
  • Psittacine Beak and Feather Disease (PBFD)
  • Avian Chlamydiosis (often referred to as Chlamydia)

This stringent testing protocol ensures the highest level of flock health and provides assurance to our clients regarding the well-being of their adopted companion bird.
